SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 184, Draft 3; an Ordinance Amending Chapter 22, Article 2
and Article 3, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended),
Relating to the Use of County Streets; and Establishing a Special Activity Permit
for Commercial Activities.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 184, Draft 3. During its meeting on October 2, 2024, the
Council amended Bill No. 184, Draft 2, with the contents of Communication Nos. 944.6 and
944.7, resulting in the attached draft.
The Council then voted to pass Bill 184, as amended to Draft 3, at first reading.
