REPORT OF THE
COMMITTEE ON FINANCE
Re: Comm. No. 1054/Res. No. 635-24
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 635-24, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 63 5 -24, transmitted by Director of Finance Diane Nakagawa via Communication
No. 1054, dated September 13, 2024, authorizes the Mayor to enter into a multi -year agreement with
Diagonostic Labs Services Inc. for blood collection laboratory services.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year agreement with an estimated cost of
$500 per year, to provide blood collection laboratory services for the Hawaii Fire Department to be
in compliance with its Bloodborne Pathogens/Infectious Disease Exposure Guidelines.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 46-7, the Mayor of the County of Hawaii is authorized
to execute, on behalf of the County, an agreement and related documents with Diagonostic Labs
Services Inc. for the purpose as described above.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 635-24, and
recommends its adoption.
