To the Honorable Mayor Roth, Kimball and all those who are imposing more draconian measures to

You have already collected slot of money from small time operators trying to pay your exh6 " rbitant
property taXes so your salaries can be increased in an air conditioned room while we bust our butts
off to do all the repair work and cleaning. Haven't you have enough of rules and regulations imposed
on people trying to survive in the most expensive place to live??? why are you folks imposing more
rules on rules??? we have complied to EVERYTHING YOU HAVE REQUESTED FROM US. YOUR
POSITION IS TO SERVE THE PEOPLE AND NOT IMPOSE LAWS OF DICTATORSHIP TO THE
HARD WORKING PEOPLE OF HAWAII. I WORK 14 HOURS A DAY AND BUY MY OWN FOOD
AND NEVER BEEN ON PUBLIC DOLE. WE HAVE BEEN COMPLIENT TO EVERYTHING YOU
TOLD US TO DO AND NOW YOU WANT MORE MONEY, MONEY, MONEY???INSTEAD OF
GOING TO PEOPLE TO SEE HOW THEY STRUGGLE AND WORK HARD TO LIVE, YOU SIT IN
YOUR COMFORTABLE AIR CONDITION OFFICE WHICH I DON'T EVEN HAVE AND HAVE US
COME TO YOU AND BEG YOU TO HAVE MERCY ON THE LITTLE GUYS TRYING TO PAY YOUR
EXHORBITANT PROPERTY TAXES SO WE HAVE SOME MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF THE
MAINTENANCE, TAXES, INSURANCE, ETC.
I HAVE HORRIBLE TENANTS I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH. THEY TRASH MY PLACE AND
WHATEVER GOOD PEOPLE WHICH THE TOURIST ARE, YOU WANT TO IMPOSE MORE AND
MORE RESTRICTIONS ON US. WE ARE SUPPORTING YOU FOLKS IN THE OFFICE.
AMERICA WAS FOUNDED ON THE LAND OF THE FREE AND ONE SUCCEED BY HARD
WORK. HAVE YOU BEEN IN OUR PLACE AND GOT YOUR HANDS DIRTY???
WE HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE COMING TO HAWAII WITH TRASHY VALUES AND
OUR MONEY IS GIVING $700,00 food stamps for mother and child and $1,000.00 stipends for
those who don't want to work. this is not fair and right to those who work.
You want housing for people, let people build . People have no choice but do what they need to
provide roof for families especially in ocean view. Are you folks stopping unpermitted structures
there???NO You make rules for the Law abiders and make it harder while those who rent cabins in
outskirts do not comply with your rules because
you don't want to. Its like police would rather give tickets to tourist with no seat belt but not ticket
families riding in the back of pick up truks with no seat belts.
