COUNTY OF HAWAIII STATE OF HAWAI'l <br />Of <br />RESOLUTION NO. 695 24 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br />DONATION OF A SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM TO THE COUNTY <br />OF HAWAIJ DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. <br />WHEREAS, MPI Security is donating a security camera system to the County of <br />Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, this donation, valued at approximately $9,749, will be installed at the <br />Princess Abigail Wah7lika'ahu'ula Kawdnanakoa Gym in Keaukaha, Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br />council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br />personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br />donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I,, in <br />accordance with Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br />Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br />resolution be sent to MPI Security, 116 Hualdlai St. #20 1, Hilo, HI 96720, acknowledging <br />this generous donation. <br />
