Kimball <br />And Members of the County Council <br />County of Hawai'i <br />Hilo, HI 96720 <br />Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members: <br />I am pleased to nominate Mr. Gordon Takaki to represent the At -Large South Hilo seat, filling <br />the vacancy left by Matthias Kusch on the Windward Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Takaki has been a dedicated resident of Hawai'i for the past 71 years, continuously engaged <br />in various community organizations throughout his life. His career in the banking industry <br />culminated with his role as District Manager at Citl Financial, where he gained invaluable <br />experience in leadership, financial management, and strategic planning. <br />Mr. Takaki remains a committed and active member of the community, volunteering his time <br />with organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association, Hawai'i Island Chamber of Commerce, <br />Hilo Yacht Club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
