COUNTY OF HAWAIII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br />DONATION OF A MURAL TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAIJ <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. <br />WHEREAS, the lrorunan Group is donating a mural to the County of Hawaii <br />Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br />W <br />WHEREAS, this mural, valued at approximately $20,000, will be painted on front <br />facing wall, side wall, stairs and ground of the Hale Halawai Park Center in Kailua-Kona, <br />Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br />council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br />personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br />donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIJ, in <br />accordance with Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br />Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br />resolution be sent to The lromnan Group, 73-4080 Hulikoa Dr. Suite 101-2, Kailua-Kona, HI <br />96740, acknowledging this generous donation. <br />
