RESOLUTION CHANGING TIME ELEMENT OF A RECREATION TECHNICIAN II (1/2T) POSITION TO FULL-TIME
WHEREAS, Position No. OO-02834, a Recreation Technician II (1/2T) position within the Department of Parks and Recreation, is located in the South Hilo district; and
WHEREAS, this position is currently not filled and would be better utilized to expand services to the public in a different departmental facility; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to increase the position’s time element from 1/2 time to full-time with the intent to later reallocate it to a position that would
increase public safety and reduce the County’s liability; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Position No. OO-02834, a Recreation Technician II (1/2T), be changed to full-time.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai‘i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management, the Department of Human Resources, the Department
of Parks and Recreation, and the Department of Finance.
