First a Big Mahalo for all you do for us on the Big Island.
I would like to encourage the council to plan a request, of postponement of
these Bills. To allow time for the economic impact analysis and further
scenarios studied before making any further decisions.
Basically play the Movie as you make these decisions. What are the
consequence's, especially to down stream vendors who benefit from those
who use the rentals.
Overall, while Airbnb can bring significant economic benefits, it also poses
challenges that need to be managed carefully by local policymakers
