The NUC is not just a permit; it is a critical component of my property's market value. Revoking it upon sale will effectively strip away a substantial portion of that value, amounting to a 'regulatory taking' without just compensation. This undermines the foundational principles of property ownership and could expose the county to legal challenges. Moreover, the use of business entities like LLCs and corporations for property ownership is commonplace and serves important functions such as liability protection and efficient management. The proposed amendment penalizes these standard practices, creating unnecessary hurdles and financial burdens for responsible property owners. I respectfully ask that you reconsider this provision to prevent undue harm to individuals like myself.
