Subject: Bill 121 and amendments
Aloha
I am Merry Anne Stone and have lived in White Sands for over 30 years and want to thank you for the opportunity to
speak before this issue.
The bill, as it currently stands, will lead to negative economic outcomes. I advocate for tabling(delaying)the bill to allow
for more thoughtful modifications. There are just too many contradictions.
I have followed the Bill 108 and now this Bill 121 since 2018. I am aware how long this process has taken, but this bill is
not ready to be passed.
Adjustments by an economic impact study, would better assess and mitigate any potential adverse effects the bill could
have on the economy.
Again I understand how many hours it has taken to get to this point but this is NOT the bill to be passed.
Mahalo, Merry Anne Stone
