i live near the proposed development in flood zone x. technically our house should be at low risk for flooding. the recent
flooding made a raging river down our driveway and eroded a bit of sidewalk near our post+pier foundation. w/emade a
small darn to redirect the river before it could get worse. building around wui\aha Mood plain would cause even more
erratic flood patterns.
I want to address our representatives who wish to see this bill passed. I am urging you to listen to the recommendations
by our residents credible organizations, and professionals that this land is not fit for any development, period. Instead,
open space preservation isrecommended torestore a riparian forest inthis natural floodp|aintoprotect our community
below while addressing our major infrastructure concerns.
