Subject: Oppose postponement of Bill 169 and oppose time extension for Kona Vistas
proposal, please vote NO to both
Aloha,
I believe that the Kona Vistas proposal could be an unacceptable liability to the county due to the severe flooding
hazards. You have read extensive testimony to this fact, and you have conducted a site visit that illustrates the double
large culverts that convey flood waters through this property. For this reason among many others, I ask you to oppose
the requested time extension for the project proposed in 1984 and never accomplished in 40 years. I also request that
you do not postpone this vote. The negotiations for County purchase though PONC funds will not be facilitated by
postponing the vote on the time extension.
