JN�Yfos M�!Y1 <br />,edit. <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I `# STATE OF HAWAII <br />�rF Of �N�•� <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE ANIMAL CONTROL AND <br />PROTECTION AGENCY WITH PURCHASING PORTABLE ANIMAL KENNELS. <br />WHEREAS, the Animal Control and Protection Agency (ACPA) was created to provide <br />for the establishment and maintenance of County pounds and to provide island -wide animal <br />control services; and <br />WHEREAS, the ACPA enforces County and State laws relating to dangerous and/or <br />vicious dogs, stray animals, impoundment, animal licensing, microchipping, and cruelty and <br />neglect investigations; and <br />WHEREAS, the ACPA is requesting funds to purchase new animal kennels to help <br />ensure the safe transport of animals as well as the safety of ACPA officers when responding to <br />animal control calls and rescues; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Animal Control and <br />Protection Agency to purchase portable animal kennels. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />ia#11 _ F <br />APPROPRIATION: i 111 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />010.239.5239.01 Animal Control and Protection Agency <br />Animal Control <br />480 Misc.
