Re: Request for an update on the impact of Ordinance No. 23-58 (Bill No. 51)
We respectfully request approximately 15 minutes for a presentation by Mr. Jordan Lerma, of
Nana Research and Conservation, to give an update of the current situation affecting our native
nene population. He will discuss the impact of Ordinance No. 23-58 (Bill No. 51) to amend the
Traffic Code and decrease the speed limit along Kalaniana`ole Street.
Please place this item on the agenda for the next appropriate committee meeting in Hilo.
