Brown <br />Deputy Director <br />COUNTY CLERK <br />COUNTY OF HAWAR <br />RECEIVED <br />Time $ 150M Ry—QN— <br />Date 1_ i11I24 <br />The State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) is providing $135,000 to the <br />Department of Research and Development for the Hawaii County`s Coffee Berry Borer <br />and Coffee Leaf Rust Pesticide Subsidy program. The grant funds will be used to <br />provide assistance to coffee farmers by offsetting the cost of the insecticide to control the <br />Coffee Berry Borer and/or approved fungicides to control Coffee Leaf Rust. <br />Enclosed is a resolution accepting this grant award.
