These funds will be used to enhance the department's Records Section to improve accuracy, quality, timeliness, immediate accessibility, and integration of national systems of criminal history and related records. Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $318,240 grant.
