Ordinance to Create Hawaii County Workforce Investment
Board and Workforce Investment Act Fund
Appropriation Ordinance for Workforce Investment Act Fund
Appropriation Ordinance to Amend FY99-00 Housing Accounts
The Office of Housing and Community Development respectfully requests
that pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of
the County of the County of Hawaii, that the above-referenced matter
be waived from the Finance Committee to the full Council for immediate
action.
A Workshop to provide a more detailed explanation of the Workforce
Investment Act to Council members is scheduled after the
March 23rd, Hawaii County Housing Agency meeting set for 2:00
p.m. at the Council Room.

Appropriation Ordinance to Amend FY99-00 Housing Accounts
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is
denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
