Re: Resolution Authorizing Mayor to Enter into Agreement
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with
the City and County of Honolulu for a Memorandum of Understanding. This
MOU will be entered into by the County of Hawai i Police Department, Honolulu
Police Department, Maui Police Department, Kauai Police Department, the
Hawaii National Guard and the Drug Enforcement Administration. There will
be a concerted effort by all agencies to apprehend, arrest and convict
individuals smuggling narcotics into, through, and out of the State of Hawai i.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Hawaii County
Police Department.
