STATE OF HAWAI`I
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI-
YEAR AGREEMENT FOR A FACILITIES CONDITIONS ASSESSMENT
AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR HAWAVI COUNTY
FACILITIES
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract,
lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later
fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity and
Resilience desires to enter into a multi -year agreement for one (1) year and six (6)
months for a Facilities Conditions Assessment and Energy Management Plan for
County of Hawaii facilities; and
WHEREAS, this service will assess County facilities to improve the identification
and prioritization of infrastructure projects for CIP and maintenance purposes,
streamline the process of identifying facilities for eligible energy efficiency and
maintenance purposes, and optimize County energy efficiency efforts for future energy
and cost savings; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a one (1) year and six (6)
months agreement, for the purpose as described above for the Office of
Sustainability, Climate, Equity and Resilience.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the
anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management, the Finance Department,
and Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity and Resilience.
