Subject: Mohouli Street Extension and Improvements
I am writing to express my support for the Mohouli Street Extension and Improvements. I live in
the lower portion of Wailuku Drive and work in town. The upper portion of Waianuenue
Avenue is greatly overused considering how winding and narrow it is. I believe that both the
improvements and extension of Mohouli Street would make commuting much safer and quicker
for the residents around my area and for the residents living above me. I have lived in Hilo my
whole life and have seen great change in our community. I feel it is time to improve our streets
to match our lifestyle and increased traffic.
