Dear Councilmember Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd,
As a landowner and futwe resident of Sunrise Estates, it has come to my attention that the Mohouli
extension project is caning up for catstruction. 1 wish to express my support for this development. 1 routinely
drive to Hilo Medical Center, and the Mohouli extension would provide an alternative route to the busy
Waianuenue Avenue.
An addition, I am aware of the hazards of Kaumana Drive with its heavy traffic and winding road. The
extension would provide a safer thoroughfare through this community. As a physician and new father, I feel that
safety should be of highest priority.
