Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions, to which was referred Resolution
No. 43-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 43-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa, via Communication
No. 64, dated December 18, 2024, authorizes a grant of easement for utility purposes to the
Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc., over Tax Map Key: 6-8-041:023 (POR.).
This resolution allows for a grant of easement from the County of Hawaii to provide electrical
service to the new Keolalani at Waikoloa subdivision in South Kohala and allow for the
installation of vacuum switch equipment, with an independent appraisal valued at $590.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Resolution No. 43-25, and recommends its adoption.
