No. 69/Bill No. 13 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 13, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 13, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication <br />No. 69, dated December 18, 2024, amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as amended, the Operating Budget <br />for the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. <br />This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants — Hawai`i County Police Department Pedestrian <br />and Bicycle Safety Grant account ($41,792); and appropriates the same to the Hawaii County Police <br />Department Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Grant account. Funds would be used to conduct <br />community engagement and enforcement activities related to pedestrian safety. <br />Traffic Safety Coordinator Torey Kellner provided background on this matter. <br />Committee Member Ashley L.
