Re: Comm. No. 66/Res. No. 45-25
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 45-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 45-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication
No. 66, dated December 18, 2024, approves the award of funds to Roots Advocates for Youth by
the Department of Parks and Recreation.
This resolution provides $50,000 of grant funds for the Roots Skate Park Phase three project at
Kamehameha Park in North Kohala.
Business Manager Charmaine Felipe was present in chambers to provide background on this matter.
Committee Chair Matt Kdneali`i-Kleinfelder spoke in support of this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 45-25, and
recommends its adoption.
