G7 25 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br />DONATION OF GILLIG BUS PARTS TO THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAI`I MASS TRANSIT AGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Oahu Transit Services is donating various Gillig bus parts to the <br />County of Hawaii Mass Transit Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, this donation, valued at approximately $176,899, consists of Gillig <br />parts that will be used to repair buses currently operating in Hawaii County; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that <br />the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or <br />other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mass Transit Agency recommends the acceptance of this donation; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County <br />of Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
