Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions, to which was referred Resolution
No. 62-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 62-25, transmitted by Director of Finance Diane Nakagawa, via Communication
No. 92, dated January 2, 2025, authorizes the Director of Finance to negotiate a lease of real property,
situated at Kailua-Kona, County and State of Hawaii, identified as Tax Map Key: 7-5-008:027, to the
Association of Apartment Owners of Kailua Village.
This resolution allows the Association of Apartment Owners of Kailua Village to continue to lease the
parcel for Kailua Village Condominium's visitor parking and fire lane access purposes.
Property Manager Hamana Ventura was present in Chambers and requested the Committee's support.
He also added that this is the 4tn amendment over the last 50 years on the matter.
Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 62-25, and recommends its adoption.
