Dear Hawaii County Council Members,
I am part of the Puako community which has donated $2.5M and countless volunteer hours
over the past decade to save Puako Reef by implementing a sewer system in Puako. NOW is
the time, and THIS is the administration that can make it happen.
I support the confirmation of Mr. Sagawa as DEM only if he commits to partnering with the
Puako community, the Puako for Reefs organization, and the many partners it has developed
through the years, to implement a sewer system in Puako during his tenure.
