Dear Hawaii County Council. Members,
My name is Judy Stevenson. I have Lived in Puako for over 35 years. My sons were raised across the street
on the reef. That was their recreation and exposed them to the natural wonders of the reef. It was
outdoors and free. They used to ctimb in our dingy and row around the reef to explore all. kinds of sea Life.
VVewatched monk S88iShaul. themselves Uponto the rocks 8tlow tide, saw baby reef sharks and
watched sea turtles swim peacefully inthe tide pools. | have participated iOreef and beach clean-ups on
@Dannual basis and o[nvery concerned about the health OfPU8koreef.
I am strongly in favor of imptementing a sewer system in Puako. This is way past due for our community. I
support the confirmation of Mr. Wes Sagawa if he commits to partnering the with the Puako Community,
the Puako for Reefs organization, and the many partners it has including the Puako homeowners to
imptement a sewer system in Puako during his tenure.
