Subject: Support for Hualalai Court Workforce Housing Project
Aloha Council Member Kagiwada,
I am writing in support of the Hualalai Court Affordable Workforce Housing application to build
104 affordable apartments in your district.
My name is Dylen Tanonaka, I am born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island. I am 19 years old
and currently working a full time job. I hope to eventually be able to afford my own place to live
as I am currently living with family. A limiting factor, however, is the high cost of living. This
project would allow recent graduates like me to be able to become independent contributors to
our community. Please support this project as it would help and support our entire island
community.
