HomeMy WebLinkAboutBIL 028 Draft 01 2024-2026AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6, ARTICLE 2, SECTION 6-12, OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PROHIBITED HIGHWAYS FOR COMMERCIAL BICYCLE TOURS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I:
SECTION 1. Chapter 6, article 2, section 6-12, of the Hawai‘i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding a new listing in subsection (a) to be appropriately
inserted and to read as follows:
“ • Old Māmalahoa Highway, from its intersection with Mauna Loa Street in Honoka‘a to 46-4265 Old Māmalahoa Highway at the department of water supply water tank.”
SECTION 2. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions
or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
