Subject: opposed to Wesley Segawa, the candidate for Director for Department of
Environmental Management
Aloha / I am concerned that the mayor has requested that Mr. Segawa be reconsidered again for Dept of Environmental
Mgnt after Segawa did not get approved on the initial vote. It appears to me that the mayor is trying to force his new
mayoral powers on the council process and that does seem pono. I am very disappointed in the mayor's action on this
sitiation.
Please do what is best for this county rather than support a good old boys network like our current president. Please get
another candidate who is well versed in the county's environmental issues.
