Subject: My Ohana & I Oppose the nomination of Wesley Segawa
Aloha Honorable Members of the Hawai'i County Council,
I vehmently oppose the nomination of Wesley Segawa as Director of
the Department of Environmental Management (DEM).
We are requiring you to represent us in the enforcement of morality in the
operations of the business of our greal Island.
It would be a weight on your good conscience to put someone who has already
been convicted of criminal acts and who is not at arms -length from illegal
influence. He is a vendor for The County of Hawai'i and his contract with you is
sizeable. You have no choice but to decline his unlawful nomination. I respect
you for having the Principles to represent the will of the informed people you
serve.
In Hawaii we all are minorities.
