Subject: Support Resolution 46-25 - Homeless and Housing Fund
Aloha,
I strongly support Resolution 46-25 to fund nonprofits addressing homelessness on
Hawaii Island. These organizations provide essential services, but delays in funding
threaten their ability to continue this critical work. Without immediate action, these
programs may be forced to cut back or shut down, leaving our most vulnerable —
families, kupuna, and keiki — without shelter or housing stability. Every day of delay in
funding means more people sleeping in cars, on the streets, or in unsafe conditions.
Please pass Resolution 46-25 without delay.
