I believe there has been abuse of power in positions within the Office of Housing and Community Development where inaccurate information was relayed. As a tax payer, I am requesting that the funds that The Anchor Point Youth Program has already received be audited and evaluated to ensure that these funds are actually accurate and given to the youth of this island. Due to the seemingly unethical actions of Paul Norman, Director of Neighborhood Place of Puna, 1 highly recommend investigating Paul Norman and his intentions with his future funding and how it actually benefits our community. I am respectfully asking you to acknowledge Humanity Hale. This organization will continue to benefit the keiki now and in the future. This organization is and will continue to currently benefit the keiki and other organizations with pono (righteous ness;solid) of awarding the funds to an organization with Pono intentions, will best benefit our community and efficiently utilize tax payer funds. I respectfully request that Humanity Hale may be considered as the candidate to be awarded these funds, considering how this organization has been falsely informed, in addition to having a vision wrongfully taken. In closing, I have witnessed my own keiki benefit from this program and continue to educate many on the hope for a better future. Humanity Hale has created a place where their keiki can feel safe, valued, who has been a part of this program and has received the benefits of Humanity Hale's vision and have first hand seen the time and dedication she has spent to create a safe gathering place for children to grow, learn, create friendships, and thrive. Mahalo for this opportunity to testify. Respectfully, Quinn Goethals
