As you are now aware, the proposal submitted by Neighborhood of Puna as their own was stolen, the intellectual property belonging to Charis Higginson, CEO and founder of Humanity Hate, who was tricked into sharing her proposal in a private meeting, then misled and discouraged from applying herself. In light of these facts, we ask that the council reopen the request for proposals since the process has been compromised and corruption has been exposed. Transparency, accountability, and oversight are needed for the 10.5 million dollars being allocated to combat homelessness. It is the responsibility of the council to further investigate and continue to hold organizations accountable. The top priority here is the lives of the unhoused, servicing and meeting the needs of our most vulnerable and marginalized community members. Lives are on the tine and our hard- earned tax dollars need to be spent most effectively, solving the problems and issues that we face, not tining the pockets of corrupt organizations. Sincerely, Dominique Jacot Keatakekua HI 96750 m a
