COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. ' 77 25 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINGOF ROYAL <br />COAT OF ARMS BRONZE PLAQUE FOR THE OFFICE OF <br />MANAGEMENT <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Eddie Vasquez is donating a Royal Coat of Arms bronze <br />plaque valued at approximately $4,000 to be displayed in the Kona Mayor's <br />office; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br />provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations <br />of money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in <br />real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County <br />Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property <br />which fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may <br />be accepted by resolution approved by the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Office of Management recommends the acceptance of <br />this donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI <br />that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, <br />and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the <br />Council of the County of Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
