COMMITTEE ON FINANCE
Re: Comm. No. 112/Res. No. 68-25
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 68-25, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 68-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication
No. 112, dated January 16, 2025, authorizes the acceptance of a grant award of $2,000 from Best
Friends Animal Society to the Animal Control and Protection Agency.
The resolution's funds would be used for travel expenses for an Animal Control and Protection
Agency staff member to attend the 2025 Best Friends National Conference.
Animal Control Administrator Matthew Runnells was present in chambers for questions.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 68-25, and
recommends its adoption.
