RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CUSTODIAN/ GROUNDSKEEPER I POSITION FOR THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of a Custodian/Groundskeeper I position for the new communications call center; and
WHEREAS, this position is essential to ensure that the new facility is routinely cleaned and maintained; and
WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Custodian/Groundskeeper I, BC02; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai‘i County Charter states that the Mayor has the power to “Create positions...for which appropriations have been made by the council...”;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that one (1) Custodian/Groundskeeper I, BC02, position be created in the Hawai‘i County Police Department.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai‘i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management, the Police Department, the Department of Human
Resources and the Department of Finance.
