SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT

This Supplemental Agreement is effective as of by and between the
Department of the Attorney General, State of Hawaii. ("Agency") and the Off -ice of the
Prosecuting Attornev, Countv of Hawaii, Nvhose business address is 655 Kilauea Avenue. Hilo,
Hawaii 96720, ("Grantee") (collectively. **the Parties").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, by Agreement dated July 1, 2023, Relating to Project Number 24-CCP-04,
hereinafter sometimes referred to as "Primary Agreement."' and any amendments or
modifications thereto (the Primary Agreement and all such amendments or modifications
hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") Grantee agreed to furnish all labor, materials, and
equipment necessary to satisfactorily perform the services (hereinafter, "Scope of" Services")
described in Parts 11 and III of Exhibit A of the Agreement,
WHEREAS, by Act 164 (Session Laws of Hawaii 2023)), the Hawaii State Legislature
has provided to Agency an appropriation of' $2,277,196 for the Hawaii Career Criminal
Prosecution Program (-IICCPP-) fior Fiscal Year 2024 and an appropriation of $1,23.3,922 for
Fiscal Year 2025:
WlllRl'--'AS, by Act 230 (Session Laws of Hawaii 2024), the Hawaii State Legislature
has provided to Agency a Supplemental appropriation of $1,081,7335 for the Hawaii Career
Criminal Prosecution Program ('11CCIIII-) for Fiscal Year 2025;
WHEREAS, Agency's initial funding for the program totaled rive hundred forty-six
thousand one hundred sixty-60it and no/100 dolJAiLs-(-$540,l()8-00J in state monies for the period
Of JUI\' 1. 2023 to June 30, 2024;
WHEREAS, Agency's initial fi funding I _- -)r the program totaled three hundred twenty-four
thousand five hundred twelve and no/100 dollars ($324,512.00) in state monies for the period of
July 1. 2014 to June 30, 2025;
WHEREAS, an additional two hundred twentv-one thousand six hundred fifty-six and
no/100 dollars ($221,656.00 i in state monies 1 is available for the period July 1, 2024 to June 30,
2025:
WHERFAS, Grantee can use the additional state monies to continue to furnish all labor,
materials, and equipment necessary to satisfactorily perform the services in the Scope of
Services. described in Parts 11 and III of` Exhibit A of the Agreement-,
WHERE'AS, Grantee has submitted to Agency a revised title page and program budget-,
