Re: Appointment of Wehiwaalani Gapero to the Youth Commission
Aloha e Council Chair Inaba and Council Members:
I am pleased to appoint Wehiwaalani Gapero to the Youth Commission as a Mayor's appointee.
Wehiwaalani Gapero of Council District 3 is a sophomore at Ke Kula Ki'eki'e 'o Kamehameha
ma Hawai'i. She was most recently employed as a student aide in her school's Halau Huliau
Multimedia Center. She is a leader in student government, and actively volunteers in our
community. Wehiwaalani will fill a vacant seat and serve a term to expire on December 31,
2027.
I respectfully request placing this item on the next available Government Operations and
External Affairs Committee agenda for a brief introduction. If you have any questions, please
