Constructing new homes for workers is a fantastic idea because it allows essential . ".
professionals like teachers, nurses, and firefighters to live near their workplaces. Currently,
many of these workers are forced to commute long distances since they cannot afford
housing in the communities they serve. This situation creates challenges for them and their
families. Providing affordable housing will strengthen our neighborhoods, ease traffic
congestion, and foster a greater sense of community. It's a meaningful way to support those
who dedicate their lives to helping us!
I ask that you support these new homes for the Hilo community.
