Subject: Support for Res. 51-25, Hualalai Court Workforce Housing Project
Aloha Council Members,
I am writing in continued support of Res. 51-25 to build 104 affordable apartments in
Hilo. I'm working hard to make a living and want to invest back into my community, but it's
tough when housing costs keep rising. I want to live on my own in Hawaii, but it's getting too
expensive, and at some point, it feels like a money barrier to having a home. I've even thought
about moving to the mainland, but I'd love to stay here if affordable options were available.
