TO: Chair Inaba and Members of the Hawaii County Council
RE: Res. 51-25: Hualalai Court Affordable Workforce Housing Project
Housing Hawai'i's Future thanks the Hawai`i County Council for their support
and appreciates the Council Members' dedication to affordable housing ry =
solutions across Hawai`i's housing ladder.
We support workforce housing in Hawaii County.
We proudly support Resolution 51-25.
As a result of this project, 104 families will be able to call Hualalai Court and
Hawai`i County home. This project sends a strong message: the Hawai`i County
Council is ready to support affordable, accessible workforce housing.
When it comes to our state's chronic shortage of affordable workforce
housing, Hawaii County leads in thought, planning, and ACTION. We urge the
Council to keep that momentum going.
Let's build more workforce housing for Hawai`i's residents.
We appreciate your consideration of this issue and careful attention to policy.
