Subject: Support for Hualalai Court Workforce Housing Project =F' _-
Aloha Council Member Kagiwada,
I am writing in support of the Hualalai Court Affordable Workforce Housing application to build 104
affordable apartments in your district.
My name is Jaslyn Miura,I was born and raised in Waimea on the Big Island and currently attend the
University of Washington Seattle. I am 21 years old and in the process of completing my
undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies. After completing my education,I plan to come back
home to serve my community by protecting our environment and resources. A limiting factor,
however, is the high cost of living. This project would not only help current residents be able to stay
in Hawai'i but would also allow college-bound keiki to come home after college and bring their
newfound skills back to our community. Please support this project as it would help and support our
entire island community.
