Thank you for the opportunity to submit opinions regarding this proposed bill. I am submitting
testimony in support of amending the short term agricultural use dedication from 3 years to 5 years.
There has been much consternation among the public regarding the new Agriculture Designations. This
bill will go a long way toward alleviating some of that concern and is more practical due to the
paperwork requirements.
Thank you, Councilperson James Hustace for bringing this bill forward.
