REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
Dear Chairman Inaba and Hawaii County Council Members:
Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4), we request attorney -client
confidential discussion, in executive session, to consult with the County Council on
questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and
liabilities regarding the above -referenced lawsuit Earthjustice attorneys David
Henkin and Elena Bryant filed on behalf of their client Hui Malama Honokohau.
We request this matter be placed on Council's March 19, 2025-agenda to
discuss matters requiring Council approval. If granted, I will appear before the
Council in person at Hilo Council Chambers.
