HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 102 Draft 01 2024-2026JNtY' Of k,�1 L6r;N•, COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAVI RESOLUTION NO. 102 25 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE FOR A MULTIFUNCTION COPY MACHINE FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK, ELECTIONS DIVISION. WHEREAS, pursuant to Article X, Section 10-11, of the County Charter, any contract, lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a five-year lease for a multifunction copy machine for the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division; and WHEREAS, the lease for the current copy machine, which is 10 years old and obsolete, has expired; and WHEREAS, a five-year lease for a multifunction copy machine would be approximately $270 per month; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year lease for a multifunction copy machine for the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolution to the Honorable Mayor C. Kimo Alameda, Director of Finance, and the Office of the County Clerk.
