Re: Fourth Quarter Report -Claims
(Anril -June 20001 FY 1999-2000
The following is the quarterly report for the Fourth Quarter of Fiscal Year 1999-00 of
claims not involving or requiring payments in excess of $1,500:
Twenty-one general liability claims were paid aggregating in total the sum of $3,420.40.
Respecting vehicular collisions, a total of six were resolved. The County paid nothing,
but recovered a total of $5,350.00 on account of damages to County vehicles.
Thirdly, the County recovered $800.00 by way ofnon-vehicular claims.
Finally, there were no settlement funds paid in civil cases during the fourth quarter of the
current Fiscal Year.
This report is being submitted pursuant to Section 2-9 of the Hawaii County Code.
