Re: First Quarter Report -Claims
iJuly -September 20001 FY 2000-01
The following is the quarterly report for the First Quarter of Fiscal Year 2000-01 of
claims not involving or requiring payments in excess of $1,500:
Six (6) general liability claims were paid aggregating in total the sum of $1,223.91.
Respecting vehicular collisions, a total often (10) were resolved. The County paid
$2,914.52, and recovered $7,343.83 on account of damages to County vehicles.
Thirdly, the County recovered $9,230.23 by way ofnon-vehicular claims.
Finally, there were no settlement funds paid in civil cases during the first quarter of the
current Fiscal Year.
This report is being submitted pursuant to Section 2-9 of the Hawaii County Code.
