Enclosed is a resolution transferring $5,212 out and from the P&R Adm OCE, Misc. Contract
Services account and crediting it to the Animal Control, Misc. Contract Services account.
Resolution 39-25 appropriated $5,212 to the Department of Parks & Recreation to provide a
grant to Action 4 Animals to help support its rehoming and adoption programs for at -risk
animals on Hawaii Island. The purpose and function of this grant better aligns with the Animal
Control and Protection Agency.

Request a resolution totransfer District 6 Contingency Relief Funds out from Departm - ent of Parks and
Recreation account 010.500.5503.02 and credited to Animal Control account 010.239.5239.01.115.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Resolution 39-25 appropriated $5,212.00 to the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide a grant to
Action 4 Animals Hawai'i to help support its rehoming and adoption programs for at -risk animals on Hawaii
Island. Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting to transfer the funds to Animal Control. The
purpose of the grant better aligns with the purpose and function of Animal Control then it does with
Department of Parks and Recreation.
